A Hug Away, Inc. is seeking a Sitter Service Coordinator to support our Home Health and Hospice operations. This role is essential in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage for sitter services while maintaining organization and communication across the team.
The ideal candidate has experience in scheduling within a home health or hospice setting, is highly organized, and can effectively manage day-to-day coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage sitter schedules based on patient needs and staff availability.
- Communicate with sitters, field staff, and office team regarding assignments and updates.
- Address call-ins, scheduling conflicts, and last-minute coverage needs.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with onboarding requirements and tracking sitter compliance (licenses, documents, etc.).
- Support general office operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in scheduling or staffing coordination required.
- Home Health or Hospice experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Kinnser/WellSky preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to staffing needs.
Position Details:
- Location: Katy, TX.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, based on office needs.
- Compensation: Based on experience.
