We are looking for an experienced and driven Home Health Marketer / Community Liaison who knows the healthcare market, has established referral relationships, and can help us expand our commercial-insurance home health census.
Position Summary:
The Home Health Marketer will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, nurses, case managers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, discharge planners, and other referral sources to generate qualified home health referrals.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated healthcare marketing professional with an existing book of business, strong community relationships, and a proven ability to develop territories and consistently generate admissions.
Our primary focus is growing commercial-insurance home health referrals and admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, case managers, hospitals, SNFs, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources.
- Generate qualified commercial-insurance home health referrals and admissions.
- Identify and develop new referral accounts and business opportunities.
- Leverage existing referral relationships and build new healthcare partnerships.
- Develop and expand designated territories throughout Katy, Houston, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with referral sources.
- Meet established admission and productivity goals.
- Conduct presentations and educational sessions regarding home health services.
- Represent A Hug Away Healthcare at networking events, healthcare meetings, community events, and professional organizations.
- Work closely with the clinical and intake teams to facilitate timely referral evaluation and admissions.
- Maintain strong communication and follow-up to prevent service failures.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, referral sources, visits, contacts, and admissions.
- Submit required marketing and activity reports to Agency leadership.
- Perform additional duties related to business development and community outreach as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health marketing, healthcare liaison, business development, or a similar role.
- Established relationships with physicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare facilities.
- Existing book of business and established referral relationships strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed admission or sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of the home health industry and referral process.
- Experience developing commercial-insurance home health referrals strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Katy, Houston, and surrounding healthcare markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to quickly develop and grow new territories.
- Professional appearance and excellent relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Incentives:
$80,000 Annual Base Salary
In addition to the base salary, the position offers performance-based bonuses tied to measurable business development and admission results.
